The Johnathan Thurston Academy is empowering youth across Mount Isa, Cairns, Townsville, and Hervey Bay through structured programs focused on leadership, resilience, and community engagement. In Mount Isa, the 2025 program kicked off with 12 young participants, strengthening local connections. Cairns successfully formed two cohorts despite weather challenges. Townsville launched the JTYouGotThis program, emphasizing teamwork and mentorship. Hervey Bay saw shy participants grow in confidence, supported by strong role models. Additionally, Uleta was named Team Member of the Month for her dedication. The academy continues to foster growth, leadership, and community impact for young people.
