JTPrograms

JTLeadLikeAGirl

JTLeadLikeAGirl is a standout program for young women, focused on developing leadership, teamwork, and other key skills that promote success throughout one’s life and career. We engage directly with young women through interactive and inspirational workshops exploring personal development and achievement.

 

Over the program, participants will hear from prominent industry leaders, participate in discussions about achieving goals; preparing for life’s challenges and utilising tools that are critical for personal, educational, and professional development.

 

Outcomes and Learning Intentions

  • Encourage attendance and positive school engagement or return to school
  • Increased confidence, courage and self-belief
  • Increased understanding of and ability to set boundaries and maintain positive social networks.
  • Young women demonstrate resilience by overcoming personal or systemic barriers to achieve their goals, such as navigating discrimination or financial difficulties.
  • Connection to other communities and supports
  • Participants build strong peer relationships within the program, creating a network of support that extends beyond the program’s duration.

JTBelieve – School Engagement

JTBelieve is a standout program for young people and their families, focused on developing confidence, courage, and self-belief.

 

Over the program, participants will work to develop leadership, teamwork, and other key skills that promote success throughout one’s life and career. They will participate in discussions about achieving goals; preparing for life’s challenges and utilising tools that are critical for personal, educational, and professional development.

 

This powerful program includes intensive workshops and sessions. JT Academy ores a safe and positive environment where young people can build their confidence, courage and self- belief resulting in a significant positive shift in their attitude on their self-worth and value.

JTYouGotThis – Early Intervention Based Program

JTYouGotThis (JTYGT) is an Early Intervention Based program to support vulnerable youth who are at risk of entering or becoming entrenched in the criminal justice system. The program focuses on enhancing internal strength and building resilience with the hope of protecting our youth.  

 

Following the leadership of Johnathan Thurston, our equipped facilitators aim to increase the self-belief, confidence, and courage of the youth so that they can be drivers of their own change. 

JTPrograms

JTSucceed – Employment Workshops

This program is a youth-led inclusive employment readiness program
designed to better equip young people in regional and remote communities for work. We specifically aim to connect young people with practical and sustainable work ready training and ultimately job outcomes.

 

This program is designed to provide participants with the necessary social and practical support while working with them to navigate skills and employment pathways that support participation and prevent long term disengagement. Our program builds Confidence, Courage and Self-Belief!
